Kronid Gogolev is a professional
woodcarver from Rusia. Kronid Gogolev convey the close interaction between humans and nature. Most of his work is dedicated to Karelia and the wild, the Russian people and their village life. His work has been featured in the original town Sortovala since 1988. Currently his work can be found not only in Moscow and St. Petersburg museums but also in several private collections from the United States, Japan, Germany, Finland and Sweden.
